General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time The southerly and southeasterly winds across Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand are moderate. Scattered thundershowers are likely all of the country during this period.

At 4.00 a.m. today, tropical cyclone “Laila” (01B) over the lower Bay of Bengal was centered about 250 kilometers east of India or latitude 14.1 o North and longitude 82.1 o East. It is forecast to further move northwest to Indian coast. People are advised to check the weather before their departure for India and Sri Lanka.

Northern Part Scattered thundershowers with isolated gust mostly in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Lamphun, Lampang, Phare, Tak, Sukhothai, Kamphang Phet and Pichit.

Northeastern Part Scattered thundershowers with isolated gust mostly in Roi Et, Yasothon, Chaiyaphum, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buri Ram, Surin, Sisaket and Ubon Ratachthani. Maximum temperature 35-38 ?C.

Southeasterly winds 15-30 km/hr.

Central Part Scattered thundershowers mostly in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai thani,

Kanchanaburi, Suphanburi and Ratchaburi.

Eastern Part Scattered thundershowers mostly in Sa Kaeo, Chon Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi

Southern Part (East Coast) Scattered thundershowers mostly in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan,
