Weather Forecast The monsoon trough lies over upper Thailand with the strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. Torrential rain and isolated heavy falls are likely over the area. The wind and wave in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand strengthens. Decreasing in rainfall is expected over the country during the period. During 12-14 Aug, Easterly wave will move to cover the Central, the East and the upper southern. After that this monsoon trough and the southwest monsoon will weaken. Increasing in rainfall and isolated heavy rain are expected.Warning During 11-14 Aug, people in the risky areas of the East and the upper southern should beware of flooding condition.
