Weather Forecast During 26-30 Aug, monsoon trough over North and Northeastern Thailand while intensifying southwest monsoon dominates the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the gulf. Torrential rains with heavy rains are expected especially in the North and upper Northeast. After that, the southwest monsoon which covers Thailand and the Gulf is weakening but still scattered to fairly widespread rain over the country.Warning - People in disaster areas along hill slope and near waterways are warned of possible flash flood during the period. This severe condition is in effect for northern, northeastern, central, eastern and southern (west coast) Thailand. All ship in the Andaman Sea and upper Gulf of Thailand should beware of the curtain due to strong wind-wave.
