"Heavy Rain and Flash Flood"

The nearly active monsoon trough across lower northern, central and eastern Thailand brings torrential rain with isolated heavy falls over upper Thailand. People in risky areas along hill slope and waterways are warned of possible flash flood during this period. The areas include Mae Hong Son, Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Nan, Lampang, Lamphun, Phrae, Uttaradit, Tak, Sukhothai, Kamphaeng Phet, Phitsanulok, Phichit, Phetchabun, Loei, Chaiyaphum, Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Kanchanaburi and Ratchaburi. People of the North, Northeast and Central are warning of overflow embankment during the period.
Beside, typhoon “FANAPI” in the Pacific Ocean is moving to near Taiwan and southern China. Travelers are advised to check weather forecast before their departure.
