Bangkok--27 Aug--Sri Trang Gloves
Prime Minister General Prayuth Chan-Ocha presented the Prime Minister's Export Award 2018 (PM Award 2018) in the category of Best Exporter to Sri Trang Gloves (Thailand) Ltd. ("STGT"), represented by Mr. Vitanath Sincharoenkul, Director, on 24 August 2018 at Santi Maitree Building, the Royal Thai Government House. The PM Award was established by the Department of International Trade Promotion, the Ministry of Commerce to promote and support outstanding exporters, and serves as an assurance of quality for overseas buyers. The Award is the highest honor given to a company by the government sector and stands for the quality and standard of Thai products in the global market.
Vitanath Sincharoenkul says that STGT is the first glove producer and distributor to receive the Prime Minister's Export Award because of STGT's strong corporate governance, cooperation with the government sector in promoting international trade, and sustainable investments in Thailand. STGT's operations utilize and increase the value of a local raw material and have been locally and internationally accredited. STGT's clear overseas marketing strategy has led to a continuous growth in sales volume in both domestic and overseas markets, a measure of recognition in the global market.
"STGT is committed to delivering "Touch of life" at a global scale. To that end, we have focused on producing high quality gloves that satisfy global standards. We already have a market share of 8% of global glove consumption with customers in over 85 countries. We are Thailand's largest producer of latex and nitrile gloves and rank among the world's top 5. The PM Award 2018 is another measure of our achievement and reinforces our commitment to deliver "Touch of life" at a global scale as well as to help propel Thailand's economy and the natural rubber industry to a sustainable growth".
