สำนักงานพาณิชย์ในต่างประเทศ ณ เมืองเจนไน ได้รับการติดต่อจากนักธุรกิจอินเดีย แต่ไปตั้งบริษัที่ดูไบ ซื่อนาย Ravi Raghavan, Executive Vice President, GBA Products Co., Dubai- UAE ว่าต้องการซื้อเม็ดพลาสติกด่วนที่สุดมากกว่า 1 แสนตัน มูลค่ากว่า 100 ล้านเหรียญสหรัฐฯ ในประเภทต่างๆ ดังต่อไปนี้

1) Poly Vinyl Chloride ( PVC ). This is used for making pipes, Bottles, sheets wire sheathing etc. There are several grades. Normally every manufacturer will make all the grades.

2) Poly Propylene (PP). This is used for making film, bottles,, sheets etc. Here again there are sevral grades and all manufacturers will make many grades.

3) High Density Poly Ethylene (HDPE) and Linear Low density Poly Ethylene (LLDPE). The applications are pipes, injection moulded products, blow moulded products ( bottles, jerry cans), extruded products ( sheets) etc. There are many grades here also.

4) Low Density Poly Ethylene - This is used for same applications as above but the properties are a little different. This material is easy to process. Here again there are many grades.

5) General Purpose Poly Styrene (GPPS). This is also called crystal grade Poly Styrene. Some times they say PS. The application is very clear moulded items.

6) Expandable Poly Styrene (EPS). This is for making foamed insulation material for packing.

7) Poly Ethylene Terephthalate - or Polyester chip or PET chips.
