ในโอกาสวันครบรอบวันประกาศอิสรภาพและวันชาติของสหรัฐฯ 4 กรกฎาคม 2560 พลเอกประยุทธ์ จันทร์โอชา นายกได้มีข้อความสารแสดงความยินดีถึงนายโดนัลด์ ทรัมป์ ประธานาธิบดีสหรัฐอเมริกาเพื่อเป็นการแสดงไมตรีจิตที่ดีในฐานะมิตรประเทศที่มีความสำคัญยิ่ง ดังนี้

On this auspicious day marking the 241st Anniversary of the Independence of the United States of America, I have the honour to extend to you and to the American people, on behalf of the Royal Thai Government and the people of Thailand, my warmest congratulations and best wishes for the joyous celebration of your national day.
