สารแสดงความเสียใจของนายกรัฐมนตรีต่อเหตุการณ์แผ่นดินไหวที่สาธารณรัฐอิรัก

ตามที่เกิดเหตุแผ่นดินไหวที่เมือง Halabjah สาธารณรัฐอิรัก เมื่อวันที่ 12 พฤศจิกายน 2560 ใกล้บริเวณชายแดนอิรัก – อิหร่าน ซึ่งส่งผลให้มีผู้บาดเจ็บและเสียชีวิตจำนวนมาก นั้น

พลเอก ประยุทธ์ จันทร์โอชา นายกรัฐมนตรี ได้มีสารแสดงความเสียใจถึงนายไฮเดอร์ อัล-อาบาดี นายกรัฐมนตรีสาธารณรัฐอิรัก ดังนี้

Excellency,

It is with profound sadness to learn of the powerful earthquake that had struck Iraq, causing many loss of lives and injuries and massive damage to properties in Halabjah and its surrounding.

On behalf of the Royal Thai Government and the people of Thailand, I have the honour to extend my heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathy to Your Excellency and, through you, to the families of the bereaved and those affected by this disaster. We are deeply grieved by the continuing rise in death toll and number of those injured. Our thoughts and prayers are with your people during this tough time.

I am confident that under your strong leadership, rehabilitation and reconstruction efforts for those affected will be carried out effectively. In this time of grief, Thailand stands ready to assist Iraq in mitigating the effects of this natural disaster.

Accept, Excellency, the renewed assurances of my highest consideration.
