นายอภิสิทธิ์ เวชชาชีวะ นายกรัฐมนตรี ได้ส่งสารแสดงความเสียใจไปยังประธานาธิบดีอาร์เจนตินาเนื่องในโอกาสการถึงแก่อสัญกรรมของนาย Nestor Kirshner อดีตประธานาธิบดีอาร์เจนตินา ดังนี

Excellency,
I have learned with deep sorrow the passing away of His Excellency former President Nestor Kirchner, an admirable leader with great talent and profound dedication to his country and people.
The late President will be remembered for his wisdom and commitment to democracy and the well — being of the people of Argentina. A charismatic leader, he played a key role in Argentina’s exemplary economic recovery and national development of recent years. Moreover, his outstanding contribution and devotion to peace, democracy, stability and cooperation in the region, especially under his capacity as Secretary General of UNASUR, are well recognized and admired by all of us. Mr. Kirchner’s death is truly a great loss for Argentina and friends around the world.
In this moment of sadness and bereavement, allow me, on behalf of the Royal Thai Government
and the people of Thailand, to extend to Your Excellency and family, friends of former President Kirchner, as well as the people of Argentina our profound condolences for this great loss.
