สารแสดงความเสียใจต่อเหตุการณ์น้ำท่วมในศรีลังกา

ตามที่ได้เกิดสถานการณ์อุทกภัยในประเทศศรีลังกา นั้น นายกษิต ภิรมย์ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้ส่งสารแสดงความเสียใจต่อเหตุการณ์ดังกล่าวไปยังศาสตราจารย์ G. L. Peiris รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศศรีลังกา ดังนี้

Excellency,

I was deeply saddened upon learning of recent flooding in several parts of Sri Lanka, particularly in Batticaloa District, that affected hundreds of thousands of people and caused widespread damage to properties and livelihoods.

In this time of tribulation, I would like to convey my heartfelt compassion to Your Excellency and, through you, to the people of Sri Lanka for this unfortunate disaster. The Thai people share your grief and wish you much strength in the rebuilding process.

Accept, Excellency, the renewed assurances of my highest consideration.
