สารแสดงความยินดีเนื่องในโอกาสที่นายกรัฐมนตรีแคนาดาชนะการเลือกตั้งทั่วไป

ตามที่ได้มีการเลือกตั้งทั่วไปในประเทศแคนาดาเมื่อวันที่ ๒ พฤษภาคม ๒๕๕๔ นั้น ในการนี้ นายอภิสิทธิ์ เวชชาชีวะ นายกรัฐมนตรี ได้มีสารแสดงความยินดีไปยังนายกรัฐมนตรีแคนาดา เนื่องในโอกาสที่ชนะการเลือกตั้งที่ผ่านมา ดังนี้

Dear Prime Minister Harper,

I wish to congratulate you on your recent election victory. It is without a doubt that the Canadian public has shown their confidence in your strong and effective leadership in government.

As you will soon assume your duties as head of the Canadian Government, the Royal Thai Government wishes to continue to further deepen our bilateral relations in key areas including trade and investment, education and energy, with the aim to forge long lasting ties between the two countries.

The Royal Thai Government and the Thai people look forward to welcoming you to Thailand later this year to mark the auspicious occasion of the 50th anniversary of Thai-Canadian diplomatic relations.
