ด้วยเมื่อวันที่ ๑๙ พฤศจิกายน ๒๕๕๔ รัฐสภาโปแลนด์ลงมติไว้วางใจรัฐบาลชุดใหม่ของโปแลนด์ โดยนาย Donal Tusk ได้รับแต่งตั้งให้ดำรงตำแหน่งนายกรัฐมนตรีโปแลนด์ และนาย Radoslaw Sikorski ได้รับการแต่งตั้งให้ดำรงตำแหน่งรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศโปแลนด์
ในการนี้ นางสาวยิ่งลักษณ์ ชินวัตร นายกรัฐมนตรี และนายสุรพงษ์ โตวิจักษณ์ชัยกุล รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้มีข้อความสารแสดงความยินดีถึงนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศโปแลนด์ ดังนี้
