ด้วยเมื่อวันที่ ๖ ธันวาคม ๒๕๕๔ ราชอาณาจักรเบลเยียมได้จัดตั้งรัฐบาลชุดใหม่ โดยนาย Elio di Rupo ได้รับแต่งตั้งให้ดำรงตำแหน่งนายกรัฐมนตรีเบลเยียม และนาย Didier Reynders ได้รับแต่งตั้งให้ดำรงตำแหน่งรองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศเบลเยียม
ในการนี้ นางสาวยิ่งลักษณ์ ชินวัตร นายกรัฐมนตรี และนายสุรพงษ์ โตวิจักษณ์ชัยกุล รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้มีข้อความสารแสดงความยินดีถึงนายกรัฐมนตรี และรองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศเบลเยียม ดังนี้
