ด้วยนาย Leung Chun-Ying ได้รับเลือกตั้งให้ดำรงตำแหน่งผู้บริหารสูงสุดเขตบริหารพิเศษฮ่องกง สืบแทนนาย Donald Tsang เมื่อวันที่ ๒๕ มีนาคม ๒๕๕๕ ที่ผ่านมา
ในการนี้ นายยงยุทธ วิชัยดิษฐ รองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงมหาดไทย และนายสุรพงษ์ โตวิจักษณ์ชัยกุล รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้มีข้อความสารแสดงความยินดีถึงผู้บริหารสูงสุด เขตบริหารพิเศษฮ่องกง ดังนี้
