ข้อความสารแสดงความยินดีจากรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศถึงรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศเมียนมาร์

ตามที่รัฐบาลเมียนมาร์ได้จัดการเลือกตั้งซ่อมขึ้นแทนตำแหน่งสมาชิกรัฐสภาที่ว่างลงเมื่อวันที่ ๑ เมษายน ๒๕๕๕ นั้น

ในการนี้ เมื่อวันที่ ๓ เมษายน ๒๕๕๕ นายสุรพงษ์ โตวิจักษณ์ชัยกุล รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศได้มีสารถึง U Wanna Maung Lwin รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศเมียนมาร์แสดงความยินดีต่อการเลือกตั้งซ่อมของเมียนมาร์ในครั้งนี้ ดังนี้

“Excellency,

I have the honour to extend my sincere congratulations on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand through Your Excellency to the Government and the people of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar for the successful by-elections on 1 April 2012.

Thailand is very encouraged by the serious efforts made by the Government of Myanmar to advance further the reform process for the benefits of the people of Myanmar. I wish to reiterate our full support to Myanmar as Myanmar continues on the path of democratization and national reconciliation that it has embarked on.

I further wish Myanmar every success in this important endeavour and stand ready to render whatever support that is necessary in this regard.
