ด้วย นาย Yitzhak Shamir อดีตนายกรัฐมนตรีอิสราเอล คนที่ ๗ ได้ถึงแก่อนิจกรรม เมื่อวันที่ ๓๐ มิถุนายน ๒๕๕๕
ในการนี้ นางสาวยิ่งลักษณ์ ชินวัตร นายกรัฐมนตรี ได้มีข้อความสารแสดงความเสียใจถึงนายกรัฐมนตรีอิสราเอล และนายสุรพงษ์ โตวิจักษณ์ชัยกุล รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้มีข้อความสารแสดงความเสียใจถึงรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศอิสราเอล ดังนี้

I have learned with deep sorrow of the passing of H.E. Mr. Yitzhak Shamir, former Prime Minister of the State of Israel. His Excellency will be remembered by the people of Israel and the world as one of the great statesmen who played a major role in forming the State of Israel and laying a foundation for peace in the Middle East by initiating the Madrid Conference.
On behalf of the Government and people of Thailand, I wish to extend to Your Excellency and, through you, my profound condolences, to the bereaved family and the people of Israel for this irreparable loss.
