ตามที่ได้เกิดเหตุการณ์อุทกภัยฉับพลันในเขต Krasnodar ของสหพันธรัฐรัสเซีย เมื่อวันที่ ๗ กรกฎาคม ๒๕๕๕ ส่งผลให้มีผู้เสียชีวิตกว่า ๑๗๐ ราย และส่งผลกระทบต่อประชาชนกว่า ๒๐,๐๐๐ ราย นั้น
ในการนี้ นางสาวยิ่งลักษณ์ ชินวัตร นายกรัฐมนตรี ได้มีข้อความสารแสดงความเสียใจถึงนายวลาดิมีร์ ปูติน ประธานาธิบดีสหพันธรัฐรัสเซีย และนายสุรพงษ์ โตวิจักษณ์ชัยกุล รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้มีข้อความสารแสดงความเสียใจถึงนายเซอร์เกย์ ลาฟรอฟ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศสหพันธรัฐรัสเซีย ดังนี้
