ด้วยนาย Hassan Sheikh Mohamud ได้รับเลือกตั้งจากสมาชิกรัฐสภาให้ดำรงตำแหน่งประธานาธิบดีโซมาเลีย ในการนี้ นางสาวยิ่งลักษณ์ ชินวัตร นายกรัฐมนตรี ได้มีข้อความสารแสดงความยินดีถึงประธานาธิบดีโซมาเลีย ดังนี้
