เนื่องในโอกาสที่สาธารณรัฐซูดานได้เฉลิมฉลองวันชาติของสาธารณรัฐซูดาน และเป็นวันครบรอบ ๕๖ ปีแห่งการได้รับเอกราช เมื่อ ๑ มกราคม ๒๕๕๖ ที่ผ่านมา ในการนี้ นางสาวยิ่งลักษณ์ ชินวัตร นายกรัฐมนตรี ได้มีข้อความสารแสดงความยินดีถึงประธานาธิบดีแห่งสาธารณรัฐซูดาน และนายสุรพงษ์ โตวิจักษณ์ชัยกุล รองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้มีข้อความสารแสดงความยินดีถึงรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศซูดาน ดังนี้
