เนื่องในโอกาสวันชาติอิรัก วันที่ ๓๑ ธันวาคม ๒๕๕๕ นางสาวยิ่งลักษณ์ ชินวัตร นายกรัฐมนตรี และนายสุรพงษ์ โตวิจักษณ์ชัยกุล รองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้ส่งข้อความสารแสดงความยินดีไปยังนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศของอิรัก ดังนี้
