เมื่อวันที่ ๒๙ พฤศจิกายน ๒๕๕๕ สาธารณรัฐประชาธิปไตยเอธิโอเปียได้มีการปรับคณะรัฐมนตรี ภายใต้การนำของนาย Hailemariam Desalegn นายกรัฐมนตรี โดยนาย Tewodros Adhanom Ghebreyesus ได้รับการแต่งตั้งให้ดำรงตำแหน่งรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศเอธิโอเปีย ในการนี้ นายสุรพงษ์ โตวิจักษณ์ชัยกุล รองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้มีข้อความสารแสดงความยินดีถึงรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศเอธิโอเปียคนใหม่ ดังนี้
