ตามที่สหรัฐอาหรับเอมิเรตส์ได้ทำการปรับคณะรัฐมนตรี และจัดตั้ง Ministry of Development and International Cooperation ขึ้นใหม่ โดยแต่งตั้ง Sheikha Lubna al Qasimi เป็นรัฐมนตรีประจำกระทรวงดังกล่าว นั้น
ในการนี้ นายสุรพงษ์ โตวิจักษณ์ชัยกุล รองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงต่างประเทศ ได้ส่งข้อความสารแสดงความยินดีไปยัง Sheikha Lubna al Qasimi ดังนี้
