ข้อความสารแสดงความเสียใจของนายกรัฐมนตรี และของรองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ต่อการถึงแก่อนิจกรรมของอดีตนายกรัฐมนตรีสหราชอาณาจักร
ด้วยเมื่อวันที่ ๘ เมษายน ๒๕๕๖ The Right Honourable The Baroness Thatcher อดีตนายกรัฐมนตรีแห่งสหราชอาณาจักร ได้ถึงแก่อนิจกรรม ในการนี้ นางสาวยิ่งลักษณ์ ชินวัตร นายกรัฐมนตรี และนายสุรพงษ์โตวิจักษณ์ชัยกุล รองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้มีสารแสดงความเสียใจถึงนายกรัฐมนตรี และรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศแห่งสหราชอาณาจักร ดังนี้
๑. สารแสดงความเสียใจจากนายกรัฐมนตรีถึงนายกรัฐมนตรีสหราชอาณาจักร
“Excellency,
I have learnt, with profound sadness, of the passing of The Right Honourable the Baroness Thatcher, former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
On behalf of the Royal Thai Government and the people of the Kingdom of Thailand, I wish to convey, through Your Excellency, my sincerest condolences to the family of Baroness Thatcher as well as the Government and the people of the United Kingdom on this grave loss.
Baroness Thatcher will always be remembered, with great admiration and respect, both as the first and only female British Prime Minister and one of the world’s great leaders of the 20th century as well as for her strong leadership and invaluable role in reshaping the European and global geopolitical order for the peace, security and freedom of all.
