ตามที่เจ้าผู้ครองรัฐกาตาร์พระองค์ใหม่ได้ทรงแต่งตั้งคณะรัฐมนตรีกาตาร์ชุดใหม่เมื่อวันที่ ๒๖ มิถุนายน ๒๕๕๖ นั้น นางสาวยิ่งลักษณ์ ชินวัตร นายกรัฐมนตรี ได้มีสารแสดงความยินดีถึงนายกรัฐมนตรีกาตาร์ และนายสุรพงษ์ โตวิจักษณ์ชัยกุล รองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ มีสารแสดงความยินดีถึงรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศกาตาร์ ดังนี้
