ในโอกาสวันประกาศเอกราชสหสาธารณรัฐแทนซาเนีย วันที่ ๙ ธันวาคม ๒๕๕๖ นางสาวยิ่งลักษณ์ ชินวัตร นายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงกลาโหม และนายสุรพงษ์ โตวิจักษณ์ชัยกุล รองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้มีสารแสดงความยินดีถึงประธานาธิบดีแทนซาเนีย และรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศแทนซาเนียตามลำดับ ดังนี้
