ในโอกาสวันคล้ายวันประกาศเอกราชของราชอาณาจักรฮัชไมต์จอร์แดนในวันที่ ๒๕ พ.ค. นายนิวัฒน์ธำรงค์ บุญทรงไพศาล รักษาการนายกรัฐมนตรี และนายพงษ์เทพ เทพกาญจนา รองนายกรัฐมนตรี รักษาการรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้มีสารแสดงความยินดีถึงนายกรัฐมนตรีจอร์แดน และรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศจอร์แดน ดังนี้

Thailand and Jordan have long enjoyed close and cordial friendship and cooperations. I believe that the excellent relations and cooperation between our two countries and peoples will continue to flourish in the years to come.

On the occasion of the Independence Day of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, I have the honour to express my warmest congratulations and best wishes to Your Excellency and the Government and people pf Jordan.
With almost five decades of our bilateral relations, I firmly believe that the ties between our two countries will continue to grow in the years ahead. I would also ike to reaffirm the Royal Thai Government's determination to further enhance our two countries' partnership and cooperation for mutual benefit of our two peoples.
