ด้วยนาย Petro Poroshenko ได้เข้าพิธีสาบานตนเข้ารับตำแหน่งประธานาธิบดียูเครนเมื่อวันที่ ๗ มิถุนายน ๒๕๕๗ ในโอกาสนี้ พลเอกประยุทธ์ จันทร์โอชา หัวหน้าคณะรักษาความสงบแห่งชาติ ได้มีสารแสดงความยินดีถึงประธานาธิบดียูเครน ดังนี้
On behalf of the Kingdom of Thailand and the Thai people, I have the honour to extend to Your Excellency my sincerest congratulations on the occasion of your inauguration as President of Ukraine. Your victory in the recent presidential election is a clear testament of the Ukrainian people’s confidence in your strong leadership.
I am certain that, under your able guidance, the cordial relations between Thailand and Ukraine will be further strengthened. Please be assured of my determination in working closely with you for the mutual benefits of our two countries and people.
I would also like to take this opportunity to reaffirm Thailand’s continued firm support for a strong and united Ukraine, which will contribute to peace and stability in the region. I wish you every success in all your future endeavors.
