ด้วยคณะรัฐมนตรีชุดใหม่ของปาเลสไตน์ได้เข้ารับหน้าที่เมื่อวันที่ 2 มิถุนายน 2557 พลเอกประยุทธ์ จันทร์โอชา หัวหน้าคณะรักษาความสงบแห่งชาติ และนายสีหศักดิ์ พวงเกตุแก้ว ปลัดกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ปฏิบัติหน้าที่รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้มีสารแสดงความยินดีถึงนายกรัฐมนตรีปาเลสไตน์ และรัฐมตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศปาเลสไตน์ ดังนี้

On behalf of the Royal Thai Government and the people of Thailand, I would like to extend to Your Excellency my sincere congratulations on the occasion of your re-appointment as Prime Minister of the State of Palestine. I wish Your Excellency every success in discharging your important duty.
Furthermore, I would like to reiterate Thailand’s support for Palestinian state-building and development efforts, as well as our determination to further develop mutually beneficial relations between our two countries.
