สารแสดงความยินดีจากหัวหน้าคณะรักษาความสงบแห่งชาติถึงว่าที่ประธานาธิบดีอินโดนีเซีย

ตามที่อินโดนีเซียได้จัดการเลือกตั้งประธานาธิบดีเมื่อวันที่ ๙ กรกฎาคม ๒๕๕๗ และคณะกรรมการเลือกตั้งอินโดนีเซียได้ประกาศผลการเลือกตั้งอย่างเป็นทางการในวันที่ ๒๒ กรกฎาคม ๒๕๕๗ ซึ่งปรากฎว่านายโจโค วิโดโด ผู้ว่าราชการกรุงจาการ์ตาจากพรรค PDI-P เป็นผู้ได้รับชัยชนะนั้น ในการนี้ พลเอกประยุทธ์ จันทร์โอชา ผู้บัญชาการทหารบกและหัวหน้าคณะรักษาความสงบแห่งชาติ มีสารแสดงความยินดีถึงว่าที่ประธานาธิบดี อินโดนีเซีย ดังนี้

Excellency,

On behalf of the Royal Thai Government and the people of the Kingdom of Thailand, I have the honour to extend to Your Excellency my sincere congratulations on your recent election victory as President of the Republic of Indonesia.

I am certain that under your able guidance and leadership, the close and cordial relations happily existing between Thailand and Indonesia will continue to be strengthened and enhanced especially as we will celebrate the 65th Anniversary of our diplomatic relations in 2015. Moreover, our partnership will be further strengthened as next year marks the establishment of the ASEAN Community, a monumental milestone of achievement that will bring all ASEAN member countries even closer together.

I look forward to working closely with Your Excellency to continue to broaden our cooperation at both bilateral and regional levels for the mutual benefits of our two countries and peoples, and as well as that of our region. I wish Your Excellency success in all your endeavours.
