สารแสดงความเสียใจจากหัวหน้าคณะรักษาความสงบแห่งชาติกรณีเครื่องบินของสายการบินแอร์แอลจีเรียตกเมื่อวันที่ ๒๔ กรกฎาคม ๒๕๕๗

ตามที่เกิดเหตุเครื่องบินของสายการบินแอร์แอลจีเรีย เที่ยวบินที่ AH5017 ประสบอุบัติเหตุตกเมื่อวันที่ ๒๔ กรกฎาคม ๒๕๕๗ ส่งผลให้ผู้โดยสารชาวฝรั่งเศสเสียชีวิตเป็นจำนวนมากนั้น พลเอกประยุทธ์ จันทร์โอชา หัวหน้าคณะรักษาความสงบแห่งชาติ ได้มีสารแสดงความเสียใจถึงนายกรัฐมนตรีฝรั่งเศสต่อเหตุการณ์ดังกล่าว ดังนี้

I have learnt with deepest sorrow of the tragic crash of Air Algerie's Flight AH5017 in the northern Malian desert on 24 July 2014, which claimed the lives of 116 passengers and crews, and am deeply saddened that 51 French nationals lost their lives in that dreadful accident.

On behalf of the Royal Thai Government and the people of Thailand, I would like to convey to Your Excellency and, through you, to the bereaved families of the victims our heartfelt condolences for this irreparable loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the families of all the victims.
