เนื่องในวันที่ ๒๒ ก.ย. ๒๕๕๗ เป็นวันครบรอบ ๕๔ ปี แห่งการประกาศเอกราช ซึ่งถือเป็นวันชาติของสาธารณรัฐมาลี นายประยุทธ์ จันทร์โอชา นายกรัฐมนตรี และพลเอกธนะศักดิ์ ปฏิมาประกร รองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้มีสารแสดงความยินดีเนื่องในโอกาสดังกล่าว ดังนี้

On the occasion of the 54th Anniversary of the Independence Day of the Republic of Mali,
I have the honour to extend to Your Excellency, on behalf of the Government and the people of the Kingdom of Thailand, my sincere congratulations and best wishes for continued peace, prosperity and happiness of the Republic of Mali and her people.
The bond of friendship and cooperation between Thailand and the Republic of Mali have been cordial, filled with mutual trust, respect and understanding.
