สารแสดงความเสียใจถึงนายกรัฐมนตรีมาเลเซีย

ตามที่มีเหตุอุทกภัยครั้งใหญ่ในรัฐทางตอนเหนือของมาเลเซีย ตั้งแต่วันที่ ๑๖ ธันวาคม ๒๕๕๗ พลเอก ประยุทธ์ จันทร์โอชา นายกรัฐมนตรี และพลเอก ธนะศักดิ์ ปฏิมาประกร รองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้มีสารแสดงความเสียใจถึงนายกรัฐมนตรี มาเลเซีย และรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ มาเลเซีย ตามลำดับ ดังนี้

Excellency,

On behalf of the Royal Thai Government and the people of Thailand, I would like to extend my sincere sympathy to Your Excellency and, through you, to those who have been affected by the massive flood that has ravaged five northern states of Malaysia since 16 December 2014. As a token of our goodwill and long-standing friendship in this time of need, I have instructed the agencies concerned to make available and hand an amount of Thai rice to the Government of Malaysia as part of our contribution to the ongoing relief operations for the affected areas.

I am confident that under your effective leadership, relief and rehabilitation efforts will be carried out swiftly. Let me assure Your Excellency that Thailand stands ready to provide additional assistance to Malaysia, wherever possible, in this difficult time.

๒. สารจากรองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศถึงรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศมาเลเซีย

Excellency,

I am saddened to learn about the recent floods that have hit the northern part of Malaysia since 16 December 2014 causing widespread damages and massive evacuation of the people.

In this regard, I wish to extend my sincere sympathy to Your Excellency and, through you, to the families affected. As a token of friendship and solidarity, Prime Minister Prayut has instructed the contribution of an amount of Thai rice to the Malaysian people.

I am certain that with the resilience and strong spirit shown by your Government and the Malaysian people, the situation in affected areas will soon be stabilised and fully recover. In this connection, I wish to assure Your Excellency that the Royal Thai Government stands ready to provide Malaysia with any further assistance and support that may be required.
