ตามที่เมื่อวันที่ ๗ เมษายน ๒๕๖๐ เวลาประมาณ ๑๕.๐๐ น. (ตามเวลาท้องถิ่น) ได้เกิดเหตุคนร้ายขับรถบรรทุกพุ่งชนในย่านการค้าใจกลางกรุงสตอกโฮลม์ ราชอาณาจักรสวีเดน ส่งผลให้มีผู้เสียชีวิต ๔ คน และบาดเจ็บกว่า ๑๕ คน นั้น
พลเอกประยุทธ์ จันทร์โอชา นายกรัฐมนตรี และนายดอน ปรมัตถ์วินัย รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้มีข้อความสารแสดงความเสียใจถึงนาย Steven L?fven นายกรัฐมนตรีราชอาณาจักรสวีเดน และนาง Margot Wallstr?m รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศราชอาณาจักรสวีเดน ตามลำดับ โดยมีรายละเอียดดังนี้

The people of the Kingdom of Thailand and I are saddened to learn of the tragic attack in Stockholm on 7 April 2017 which killed 4 innocent people and injured many more. It is disheartening to see such attack in the peaceful Kingdom of Sweden.
During this time of grief, I wish to offer my profound condolences to you and, through you, to the families of victims of this attack as well as the Kingdom of Sweden. Thailand strongly condemns such indiscriminate attack on civilians. This tragic incident reminds us to work closely together, along with the international community, to fight against all forms of violence.

I was saddened to learn of the tragic incident in the heart of Stockholm on 7 April 2017 which resulted in the death of 4 people and left others injured.
I wish to extend my deepest condolences to the families of the victims of this attack and to the Kingdom of Sweden for this irreparable loss. At this difficult time, Thailand extends our sincere sympathy and stands ready to support Sweden. A tragic incident such as this reminds us of the urgent need for the international community to fight against all forms of violence. Thailand is committed to work with Sweden towards this end.
