รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศส่งสารแสดงความยินดีถึง นายหวัง ฉีซาน รองประธานาธิบดีสาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน ในโอกาสรับตำแหน่งตามมติของที่ประชุมสภาประชาชนแห่งชาติจีน

ตามที่ที่ประชุมสภาประชาชนแห่งชาติจีนเมื่อวันที่ ๑๗ มีนาคม ๒๕๖๑ มีมติแต่งตั้งให้นายหวัง ฉีซาน ดำรงตำแหน่งรองประธานาธิบดีสาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน

นายดอน ปรมัตถ์วินัย รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้มีสารแสดงความยินดีถึงนายหวัง ฉีซาน รองประธานาธิบดีสาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน โดยมีรายละเอียด ดังนี้

Excellency,

I have the honour to extend to Your Excellency my sincere congratulations on your appointment as Vice President of the People’s Republic of China, which is indeed a clear testimony of the trust and confidence the Government and the people of China have in you.

Your instrumental role in advancing China’s development over a decade has been widely recognized. I personally met you a few times when you served as Beijing Mayor and I was the Thai Ambassador to China. Your great achievements in fighting against the outbreak of SARS and in preparation for the Beijing Olympic Games, among others, were admirable. Therefore, I am certain that, with your continued guidance and notable experience in various areas, China will continue to develop to new heights, thereby contributing to prosperity, stability and development of the entire region.

I also wish to take this opportunity to reaffirm to Your Excellency that the Royal Thai Government highly values the long-standing friendship between Thailand and China and is committed to further deepening Thailand - China relations and cooperation in all areas of mutual interest for the benefits of our two countries and peoples. I look forward to your support for an even strong partnership between our two countries.
