สารแสดงความเสียใจจากอุปทูต ณ กรุงโซลในนามของรัฐบาลไทยถึง รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศและการค้าเกาหลีใต้ กรณีเหตุการณ์เรือลาดตระเวณของเกาหลีใต้อัปปางในทะเลเหลือง (ทะเลตะวันตก)
เมื่อวันที่ 31 มีนาคม 2553 นายพรพงศ์ กนิษฐานนท์ อุปทูต ณ กรุงโซล ได้มีสารแสดงความเสียใจไปยังนายยู มยอง-ฮวาน รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศและการค้าเกาหลีใต้ ต่อกรณีเหตุการณ์เรือลาดตระเวณของเกาหลีใต้อัปปางในทะเลเหลือง (ทะเลตะวันตก) เมื่อวันที่ 26 มีนาคม 2553 ดังนี้
Excellency,
In the moment of sadness of the sinking of the “Cheonan” Navy Ship on 26 March 2010, I, on behalf of the Royal Thai Government, would like to take this opportunity to extend my sincere sympathy and heartfelt condolences to Your Excellency and, through you, to the families of the still missing crewmen as well as to the Government and people of the Republic of Korea.
It is also our fervent wish that our deepest condolences would be conveyed to its highest destination. Our thoughts are with you during this difficult time.
