เมื่อวันที่ 12 พฤษภาคม 2553 นายอภิสิทธิ์ เวชชาชีวะ นายกรัฐมนตรี และนายกษิต ภิรมย์ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้มีสารแสดงความยินดีไปยังนาย David Cameron นายกรัฐมนตรีสหราชอาณาจักร และนาย William Hague รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศสหราชอาณาจักร ตามลำดับ ในโอกาสที่ได้รับการแต่งตั้งให้ดำรงตำแหน่ง ดังนี้
