สารแสดงความยินดีจากนายกรัฐมนตรีถึงว่าที่ประธานาธิบดีสาธารณรัฐฟิลิปปินส์

เมื่อวันที่ 11 พฤษภาคม 2553 นายอภิสิทธิ์ เวชชาชีวะ นายกรัฐมนตรี ได้มีสารแสดงความยินดีไปยังนายเบนิกโน ซิมีโอน โคจูอังโก อาควิโน ที่สาม (Mr. Benigno Simeon Cojuangco Aquino III) ว่าที่ประธานาธิบดีสาธารณรัฐฟิลิปปินส์ ภายหลังได้รับชัยชนะจากการเลือกตั้งเมื่อวันที่ 10 พฤษภาคม ที่ผ่านมา ดังนี้

On behalf of the Royal Thai Government and the people of Thailand, I have the honour to express my sincerest congratulations to Your Excellency for the remarkable success in the Philippine national election leading to your election as the new President of the Republic of the Philippines. I am confident that under your able leadership, the Philippines will continue to prosper and actively contribute to the building of an ASEAN Community in the years ahead.

Thailand and the Philippines share a long-standing and close bond of friendship at all levels and in all aspects. Our two countries share fundamental values of democracy and the respect for human rights. I look forward to working closely with you to further enhance the already existing cordial ties between our two countries for the betterment and prosperity of our peoples and ASEAN.
