ตามที่ได้เกิดเหตุการณ์ระเบิดที่ร้านอาหารเอธิโอเปียและสโมสรรักบี้ในกรุงกัมปาลา ประเทศยูกันดา เมื่อวันที่ 11 กรกฎาคม 2553 ส่งผลให้มีผู้เสียชีวิต 74 คน และบาดเจ็บอีกเป็นจำนวนมาก นั้น
นายอภิสิทธิ์ เวชชาชีวะ นายกรัฐมนตรี ได้มีสารแสดงความเสียใจไปยังประธานาธิบดียูกันดา และนายกษิต ภิรมย์ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้มีสารแสดงความเสียใจไปยังรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ดังนี้

Excellency,
I have learnt with deep sorrow of the terrorist acts that occurred in Kampala on 11 July 2010 which deliberately targeted innocent people who were enjoying the final match of the World Cup 2010 and caused considerable loss of lives.
On behalf of the Government and the people of Thailand, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy and sincere condolences to Your Excellency, and through you, to the people of the Republic of Uganda.
In this hour of tragedy and loss, Thailand joins the international community in strongly condemning terrorism in all forms.

2. สารแสดงความเสียใจจากรัฐมนตรีว่าการฯ ถึงรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศยูกันดา
Excellency,
I am deeply shocked and saddened upon learning of the terrible blasts in Kampala on 11 July 2010, which claimed many innocent lives.
My deepest sympathy and condolences go to the people of the Republic of Uganda and especially to the bereaved families of the victims. I join your nation in mourning in this time of sorrow.
The Royal Thai Government strongly condemns these acts of terrorism and remains firmly committed to cooperate closely with the international community in the global fight against terrorism.
