เมื่อวันที่ 29 กรกฎาคม 2553 นายอภิสิทธิ์ เวชชาชีวะ นายกรัฐมนตรี และ นายกษิต ภิรมย์รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้มีสารแสดงความเสียใจไปยังนาย Syed Yousaf Raza Gilaniนายกรัฐมนตรีปากีสถาน และนาย Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศปากีสถาน ต่อกรณีเครื่องบินโดยสารของสายการบินเอกชนแอร์บลูประสบอุบัติเหตุ บริเวณชานเมืองตอนเหนือของกรุงอิสลามาบัด เมื่อช่วงเช้าวันที่ 28 กรกฎาคม 2553 ดังนี้

Excellency,
I have learned with deep sense of sorrow of the tragic accident of the Pakistan’s Airblue flight ED 202 which crashed into Islamabad’s Margalla Hills on 28 July 2010, claiming 152 lives of passengers and crews.
On behalf of the Royal Thai Government and the people of Thailand, and in view of the close friendship between our two countries, I wish to extend to you and, through you, to the bereaved families our profound condolences and sympathy for this irreparable loss.
