Every time we paint, we can feel the happiness in our mind which is different from when we paint other pictures which are admired by the viewers. They said that those pictures are beautiful and they are nicely painted. However, the King’s picture which I painted last year, with the big size of 15m x 2 m. in front of the Central World was respected by people. I was overwhelmed because the picture I painted is in their hearts. The King and the Queen are in the hearts of all Thai people. They did not know who painted that picture but they “Wai” because it’s the picture of the King and the Queen. I have been painting the King’s picture for more than 500 pieces since I started painting. There are the smallest size like a business card and the biggest size as well. When I have free time, I will take a ride and draw a small picture. I’m happy every time and I am never being tired. When I finished my routine work I was exhausted but when I arrived home I would draw the pictures of the King and the Queen and then I turned to be fresh and didn’t want to go to bed even though I had to wake up early next morning to work. This is my happiness. This includes the King’s royal words about perseverance. If we work hard and happily with perseverance, we will never be tired. These words are always in my mind. Whatever we do, we have to be perseverant and we will achieve it no matter how difficult it is. Without these words, I don’t think I can paint like this. This is the reason why I keep painting the pictures of both the King and the Queen all along.” The famous artist lastly told us before leaving. Meanwhile, we would like to welcome all Thai people and the interested audience to the painting exhibition “The queen 80th Birthday-80 paintings to honor The Mother of Thai People” during 8th-15th August 2012 at the Fashion Hall, first Floor, The Emporium Shopping Center.
