Novotel Bangkok on Siam Square Announces ECPAT Ambassador
David Baldwin, General Manager of Novotel Bangkok on Siam Square, announces the appointment of Ms. Kitiya Tavorn as the hotel’s ECPAT Ambassador. The cooperation, between Accor Hotels and ECPAT International, aims at protecting children from sexual exploitation in travel and tourism. Ms. Kitiya supports the program at the hotel level, ensuring that all employees are trained to identify and react against suspicious behaviour, as well as raise awareness amongst guests and suppliers of the offence. Since 2004 Novotel Bangkok on Siam Square has maintained a 100% participation rate in ECPAT training programs, joining more than 6,000 Accor staff being trained in how to deal with suspected and actual cases of child sex tourism.
