- SL-110 Java Programming for Non-Programmers
Lecture: 50% Lab: 50% 21 - 25 Jan, 2002
First time Programmers will find this course an excellent choice for learning programming using the Java programming language. Key areas are the significance of the Java programming language, object-oriented principles and applying those concepts when writing Java technology code encompassing the essential Java programming functions.
At the end or the course, delegates will be able to write a very simple Java application, but will not have extensive programming ability.
- SL-210 Migrating to OO Programming with Java Technology
Lecture: 65% Lab: 35% 30-31 Jan, 1 Feb 2002
This course provides delegates with the necessary concepts and skills to move to Java Technology. It covers basic object-oriented (OO) concepts and object-oriented analysis and design as they relate to Java technology, as well as introductory Java programming language constructs.
It is a preparatory course so that delegates can learn the necessary background in preparation for taking Java Programming Language course (SL-275).
