ในโอกาสครบรอบ 40 ปี ขององค์การเพิ่มผลผลิตแห่งเอเชีย (Asian Productivity Organization) องค์การฯได้กำหนดจัดการประชุมนานาชาติเรื่อง INTERNATIONAL PRODUCTIVITY CONFERENCE - Productivity in the New Millennium : EnhancingCompetitiveness through People and Value Creation ในวันที่ 2-4 ตุลาคม 2544 ณ ประเทศสิงคโปร์
และเพื่อเป็นการแนะนำงานดังกล่าว สถาบันเพิ่มผลผลิตแห่งชาติ จะจัดให้มีการบรรยายสรุปในหัวข้อ “Competitiveness and Shifting Productivity Paradigms ” ขึ้นในวันที่ 6 สิงหาคม 2544 เวลา 13.30 - 15.00 น.ณ โรงแรม เมอร์ชั่นคอร์ท โดยมี Mr.Freddy Soon, Deputy Chief Executive of the Singapore Productivity and Standards Board เป็นวิทยากร
