The innovative “Touch SIM” using RFID technology allows electronic financial business transactions and E-commerce services to be performed from mobile phones. This groundbreaking service won the 2008 National Innovation Award as the second runner in the economy category. True is the sole Thai telecommunications firm that won the award, out of 407 entries.
TrueMoney is the first service operator in the world to design and develop the Touch SIM using RFID technology for use with mobile phones. It can help enterprises expand their commercial services and help reduce the need to carry cash while providing more convenience for consumers.
