ดร.สุรเกียรติ์ เสถียรไทย รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศได้ส่งสารแสดงความยินดีไปยังนาย Nasser Al-Kidwa รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศปาเลสไตน์ เนื่องในโอกาสเข้ารับตำแหน่งใหม่ ภายหลังได้รับการรับรองจากรัฐสภาปาเลสไตน์แล้ว ดังนี้

On behalf of the Royal Thai Government and its people, I have the honour to express my sincere congratulations and best wishes to Your Excellency on your appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Palestinian National Authority on 24 February 2005.
I am encouraged by the latest positive development in the Middle East peace process that would bring about a peaceful solution to the Middle East conflict.
In this connection, I would like to take this opportunity to reaffirm Thailand’s continuous support to the Palestinian people towards the establishment of the state of Palestine and the cause for lasting peace to prevail in the whole region.
