It is truly a well-deserved recognition of your long-standing commitment to and successful endeavor in promoting the cause of reconciliation and peace between the two Koreas and also in furthering the values of democracy and human rights in your own country and abroad. May I, therefore, take this opportunity to join all your friends in the international community to congratulate you once again on this momentous occasion for yourself and for the people of the Republic of Korea with whom Thailand has had strong and close ties of friendship and cooperation for our mutual benefit.
